THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS
DON'T YOU FAKE IT [VIRGIN RECORDS] - JULY 18, 2006

With an interesting band name, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus should already have you curious about their music. With flying vocals and catchy lyrics, the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus has definitely come out with a hit album. Don't You Fake It is as versatile as the band name and will have you listening to the CD over and over again. In fact, you will probably listen to it so much that you wear it out and will have to buy another one. The songs "In Fate's Hands" and "Grim Goodbye" will have you headbanging to the hard rock and screaming, while "Cat and Mouse" and "Guardian Angel" might just depress the fuck out of you. The best thing about Don't You Fake It is being able to listen to each song and not have to grasp a "hidden meaning." Everything is said without mystic terminology and makes it a little bit easier to simply listen and enjoy the music. "Face Down," the first single, exemplifies this. The lyics tell a story of a girl who can't leave the man she loves, even though he beats her. She loves him through it all. Don't You Fake It has definitely crossed the lines of originality and will have listeners begging for more.
