A good album should be an experience. Kessler does a good job of relaying experiences in I Know Your Voice through human struggles such as life’s misfortunes, love, and hurt. It reminds me of my first loves and consequent first heartbreaks.
With simple, straight forward lyrics, Kessler leaves little to the imagination. Their words are easily understood and can be interpreted into one’s own life such as the lyrics in the song "Bravo," 'You set the stage and we fell for every move you made. Lustfully in love for you...' The music is fun and catchy with good, well-polished melodies.
Kessler is an energetic rock band geared mostly toward a younger crowd. I believe they have the capability with more experience, time, and confidence to find their niche. They are lacking a unique voice, but if they were to take some risks with their music I think that they would be able to break out of their current constraints and follow the path to success.
